Description
This Fairtrade & Organic microlot comes from farmer Mercedes Carranza Montenegro and his farm La Palmera, Lonya Grande, in the Amazonas region of northern Peru. Mercedes is a founding member of the “El Palto” co-op that was created in 2003 that now consists of 189 active members, 40 of which are women. This is a washed coffee dried on raised beds and includes Bourbon, Catimor and Pache varieties.
This truly memorable cup is sweet with a nice body and notes of grape, apple, almond and honey. Fantastic!
