Description

Papua New Guinea is an incredible country of mass bio-diversity that occupies the eastern half of the
island of New Guinea in a region of the Pacific ocean north of Australia.

Coffee production was begun in the 1920’s and included a variety of the Typica strain from Jamica called Blue Mountain. This superb variety was an excellent choice for the climate, altitude and soil conditions.

This is a small-holder produced coffee from the Waghi Valley in the Western Highlands that includes Arusha, Blue Mountain and San Ramon varieties. This coffee is grown at about 4800 feet above sea level and is fully washed and dried. Expect a silky-smooth chocolate cup with heavier body and up-front notes of lemon and cedar.
