This is a select cup brought to us by small holders in Costa Rica. Small holders produce over 90% of all coffee from Costa Rica and 70% of that is grown at altitudes between 3000 and 5000 feet. Coffee has provided social structure and framework in Costa Rica for over 200 years and provides farmers with a sense of pride, community and income.
By Presidential Decree, no coffee but Arabica may be grown in Costa Rica.
This coffee is outstanding! Expect a great body, low acidity, silky mouth-feel and tones of citrus, toffee and chocolate.
