This fabulous coffee comes to us from a single farm owned by Virgilio Martinez in the Huehuetenango region and is grown at about 5000 feet above sea level.
Mr. Martinez grows several varietals, including Caturra, Catimor and Bourbon and uses a washed process that includes multiple washings and sun drying for 10-14 days.
This cup is memorable, full of sugary sweetness and offers scores of 87+! Along with great body, expect flavors and notes of cocoa, toffee and mild fresh berry flavors that bring out a tiny bit of bright, tart acidity at the finish.
