This delicious coffee comes to us from about 3500 small holders surrounding the Mpanga Washing Station located in the Maridabi region of Kayanza Province.
High quality coffee production begins with economic incentives to pick only the bright-red, perfectly ripe coffee cherries and runs through the entire process from washing and fermenting to shaded “par-drying” and, finally, sun drying.
The care given to growing and processing is reflected in the cup where you will find outstanding body and a deep base of dark chocolate. Under the surface, one can detect wisps of citrus. Hints of herbs come out as this low acidity cup cools.
