Description
This is another memorable coffee from Peru and comes to us via Rony Lavan, President of Lima Coffees and a known force in the wholesale coffee world, bringing Peruvian coffees up to the competition level over the last 10+ years.
This is a FTO coffee sourced from small holders in the Cajamarca region. All coffees are grown well over 5000 feet and include only 4 varietals: Catimor, Bourbon, Caturra, and Typica.
Coffee cherries are washed within a day of picking, after approximately 18 hours of resting, and sun-dried for 10-21 days.
This outstanding cup has great body, syrup-like sweetness, notes of caramel with fresh papaya and mellow panela flavors. A hint of pink grapefruit acidity sneaks in at the end for a great finish. Another phenomenal cup!
