Kenya began producing coffee in 1893 and has grown to be one of the worlds greatest producers of the best tasting and highest scoring coffees. Kenyan coffees are known for big, bold flavors such as black currant and red berries, along with citric-acidity that can be expressed as grapefruit, and are generally recognized for sweet, creamy cups.
This coffee comes to us from small holders in central Kenya and is grown at about 4000 feet. This is an absolutely delicious cup! Expect a heavy body and herbal finish with notes of chocolate and fruity-berries and a small amount of wine-like-acidity. We felt this coffee was so good we doubled our normal order!
