Description
This delicious Organic SHB EP coffee was cultivated near Lake Atitlan in Guatemala’s highlands at over 5000 feet. This lot comes from Cerro Lancandon Chochajau, a group-farm operation that cultivates over 33 hectares owned by 27 individual producers.
This is an SHB (strictly hard bean) EP (Euro-preparation) coffee. SHB means coffee grown at 4500 feet or more. Euro preparation means screen size of 15 or above, zero visible defective beans and zero silver-skin. Along with washing and sun drying, these characteristics are synonymous with outstanding quality.
This outstanding cup has a solid body with a chocolate base, secondary notes of honey and caramel, and just a hint of tangy black cherry at the finish.
