Description
This is a phenomenal Excelso coffee from the Catatumbo subregion in the Nariño department of Colombia.
The small farm that produced this coffee is located in the Catatumbo sub-region and growing at about 1900 meters above sea level. This lot contains only one variety, Castillo, which was released in 2005 from Cenicafe. It is a newer variety with outstanding flavor and as a true micro-lot, only 63 bags were produced.
Expect an absolutely delectable and memorable cup with good body, nice complexity, and nuances of raspberry and cherry with a hint of citrus.
