This is a fabulous FTO certified coffee from the AGROCAM co-op located in the Calama Region just 20 miles from the Bolivian capital of La Paz.
AGROCAM is a small association of 30 organic producers in the Calama region where farms are 4000-6000 feet above sea level. Varieties cultivated include Caturra, Catuai and Typica. Coffee cherries are harvested and pulped the same day, fermented for 15 hours and washed on site. Drying takes place over several weeks on wooden screens.
This is an unforgettable cup that serves as an outstanding breakfast coffee that offers a very bright acidity with hints of raisin, almond, toffee and chocolate.
