Ecuador Fair Trade Organic ACRIM Co-Op

Whole Bean Coffee

Another truly unique and very limited cup due to the very small quantities that Ecuador exports annually (100 containers per year compared to, say, Colombia at 32,000 or Peru at 12,000). You will find a beautiful cup with great body and tones of citrus with a bit of acidity. Undertones of tobacco and nut are easily detected along with a wisp of dark chocolate.

Description

This excellent coffee comes from southern Ecuador near the Peruvian border via the ACRIM Co-Op. The locale provides a perfect micro-climate for growing coffee and it can be tasted in the cup.

Farms in the ACRIM Co-Op average 1.5 hectares, and the leadership is highly skilled and has positioned themselves as a top provider for Ecuadorian coffee. The Taza Dorada competition has seen them win and place many times.
